Our business is growing, and we are looking for a
CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Your main duties are commercial sales activities, developing and expanding relationships with customers. You set strategies and targets for long term growth, including planning and forecasting segment sales together with the strong backup from Caldic product managers, supply chain, our new product development team and customer care departments. You ensure the product development and sales of the whole Caldic product range and you are also responsible for prices and quotation for your own customer pool.
In order to be successful in this role you need to be independent, self-motivated and have a true passion for food industry. You are the face of Caldic to the clients, and you like to gain and analyze the complete market insight as well as indicators and trends. You are capable of entering the product development with your customer and feel proud when a new product is launched on the market as a result of great cooperation.
We expect you to have relevant commercial and technical experience from sales or purchasing within the food industry. You need great communication and networking skills, combined with a commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. Understanding our customer’s processes and production is vital in order to add value to their business development. Traveling is part of the job in order to meet clients in Finland and colleagues in the Nordics.
Fluency in Finnish and English is required to be successful in the role.
We appreciate visions and understanding of food market in Finland. A degree preferably related to food science and/or chemistry is a strong advantage. Above all, we are looking for a customer oriented and result focused team player, who has a curious mind-set and is eager to develop the business together with our clients.
