Key Account Manager looking for growth.
Are you passionate about sales and building relationships? We are looking for you, who wants to increase Univar’s sales in Western Finland, and ensure our growth with both existing and new customers. In this role you will have a lot of responsibility while benefiting from the dedicated support of both the local and international organizations. The products in your portfolio include premium lubricants from Shell, the world’s market share controller in lubricants. Univar owns the exclusive license to sell Shell lubricants in the Nordics. In addition to products, Univar also offers services and added value.
Univar Solutions is now making a major expansion in the four Nordic countries, where it is growing by about 15 people and new digital platforms & tools. This is to expand further from an already leading market position.
Location: Western Finland; home office, or our office in Vantaa, Jyväskylä or Vaasa
Your role
In the role as Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing the number of customers in the segments of General Manufacturing, Transport and Construction in Western Finland.
Through customer analysis, it is up to you to set the plan and take responsibility of your district’s growth.
You allocate your time to managing existing customers, increasing their profitability, as well as finding new customers and possibilities. The products you handle are premium lubricant products from Shell, which is the world's largest brand in this segment. Univar has exclusive rights as a distributor for Shell within Northern Europe.
Some of your key tasks:
- Actively work with your pipeline and make sure it is filled with business opportunities.
- Plan and book your customer visits based on your set customer plans.
- Conduct internal communication so that customers receive the service needed. For example, frequent contact with technicians, purchasing, product managers, transport department.
- Implement won agreements and ensure that our customers call off our products.
- Actively visit your customers. The job requires a minimum of 50 travel days per year.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you have relevant work experience within B2B sales with proven track record of successful, modern sales development.
You will receive a solid introduction to our products and business. However, what you need to bring with you are the right personal qualities.
To succeed in this role, you need to be highly ambitious, goal oriented, and have a high energy level. You must take responsibility for your business and strive to get results. You can create good relationships and are systematic in your approach. You are also creative, finding the opportunities for business and know how to close a deal.
You are fluent in Finnish and English, and having an interest and experience from technology, industry or heavy vehicles is a plus. It is even better if you have existing networks among the companies we aim at.
