Sales & Marketing Manager
Position Overview:
As the Sales and Marketing Manager at Paradox Museum, you'll be the architect of our brand's magnetic presence. You'll craft innovative strategies that defy convention, captivate audiences, and drive foot traffic to our mind-bending exhibits. Your mission: to banish boredom and spark curiosity!
You will report to the General Manager (CEO) of Paradox Helsinki, forming a dynamic duo responsible for marketing strategy and operational sales and marketing activities for Paradox Helsinki.
You will deepen our presence in the local market while maintaining a global vision.
Purpose of the role
The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and developing the sales and marketing activities of the Paradox Museum. The main objective is to grow visitor numbers and revenue, strengthen the brand, and ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels. This role reports directly to the General Manager.
We are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, an eye for innovation, and the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table. Above all, we value execution – ideas are great, but action is everything. You should be hungry to exceed sales targets and passionate about turning strategy into results.
Key responsibilities
- Sales and partnerships
- Drive ticket sales across all channels and identify new sales opportunities (B2B, group sales, travel trade, schools etc.)
- Create and manage attractive packages and offers in collaboration with operations team
- Analyze sales performance and implement data-driven improvements
- Manage relationships with key partners and corporate clients
- Marketing and communications
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, print, PR, influencer marketing)
- Manage the marketing budget and report on campaign effectiveness
- Ensure the consistency of brand visuals and tone across all platforms
- Develop customer communication and content to support sales and visibility
- Customer experience and brand management
- Ensure a smooth customer journey from online platforms to the on-site experience
- Use customer feedback and data to improve visitor satisfaction and engagement
- Maintain and evolve the museum’s brand identity in a way that drives growth
- Team collaboration and reporting
- Work closely with the General Manager, operations team, and external agencies
- Lead sales-focused initiatives internally and ensure alignment across departments
- Report progress, results, and development needs regularly to the General Manager
Who we’re looking for
- Proven experience in sales with marketing, preferably in tourism, culture, media or entertainment
- Leadership, agility, appetite for furher growth, good communication skills
- Strong commercial mindset and drive to exceed targets
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, very execution-oriented and proactive way to work
- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to act fast when needed
- Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
