Quality Control and Assurance Specialist

to serve the whole Accon Group - located in Kokkola

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated QC&A Specialist to join our ESG-Q Team at Accon Group. This role will focus on quality assurance & control in Kokkola, supporting our Finnish and Estonian production sites. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and developing our activities according to ISO standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and leading our quality team to uphold and enhance Accon's quality culture.

Your goal will be to secure and continuously strengthen Accon's quality culture. 

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage and develop our procedures aligned to ISO 9001, 14001, and 22000 standards, soon expanding to FSSC 22000. You will ensure our operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, lead the Accon Quality team, and support the Sales team on quality-related matters. Training the organization, participating in customer and supplier meetings, and conducting audits will also be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and at least three years of experience in a similar role. You should be well-versed in quality documentation and possess the ability to handle international customer inquiries effectively. A strong understanding of legislation and safety aspects, especially in the food processing, packaging or chemical industries, is essential. Excellent English language skills, both oral and written, are a must. Fluency in Finnish is highly valued for local operations.

We appreciate experience in monitoring environmental compliance and a track record of successful work in similar roles. Participation in development and implementation projects will be considered an advantage.
