We are looking for an
to strengthen automation and electricity system planning of manufacturing lines and take care of stakeholder liaison and human management in Finland and on sites.
Trussmatic is looking for an Automation Manager to organize electrical and automation planning and development You will also be a manager to automation and design engineers and other personnel on sites. Automation Manger participates in commissioning, maintenance and after sales functions. You work closely with suppliers, customers, sales and design. You possess a critical insight and bring alternatives to discussions if needed. We will support you by our knowledgeable organization. The person who we are looking for will have a strong expert and advisor role in Trussmatic organization and with our suppliers in Europe. We use TwinCAT 3 - Beckhoff New Automation Technology. Ability to act as a partner for stakeholders and work flexible together in teams play a vital role in this position. You are goal oriented and you are positive about challenges.
Competencies and Experience
- Technical education (automation or electricity)
- At least 5 years work experience. Preferable Project or Automation Manager positions
- Ability to perceive big picture and point out critical issues
- Experience in successful liaison management in an international environment
- Initiative and active working method
- Co-operation skills
- Flexibility and problem solving
- Excellent professional IT skills including CAD
- Fluent English, Finnish is preferred but not a demand
- Readiness to travel
The location will be in Lahti/Finland. However, the work includes travelling to ongoing projects and suppliers mainly in the USA and Europe.
