We are looking for a

Sourcing Manager

to strengthen our team in Finland.

Job description

In this role you are responsible for sourcing and procurement for our delivery projects. We expect you to have good skills in terms of finding cost-effective solutions, quality monitoring and reporting. You will also need to drive for improved availability and lead times along with maintaining relations to existing suppliers. You are a goal-oriented person, and face challenges with a positive attitude. You work closely with design and other project personnel. This role requires occasional travelling.

Work tasks

• Find new subcontractors and components suppliers 
• Participation in and manage the negotiations between suppliers and Trussmatic
• Update data of preferred suppliers
• Maintain relations to existing subcontractors and suppliers
• Place equipment orders to subcontractors
• Purchase manufactured parts for projects according to information from PDM
• Follow up supplier order confirmations and deliveries 
• Proactively monitor and expedite deliveries

The person we are looking for has

• Appropriate technical or commercial education
• Experience in manufacturing industry sourcing and procurement
• Initiative and active working method
• Co-operation skills
• Ability to suggest strategic alignments for the sourcing activities
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities, hands-on attitude
• IT skills, CAD preferable
• Fluent in English and Finnish
• Possibility to travel

Other information

• Start: As soon as possible
• Duration: Permanent
• Location preferably in Lahti/Finland. Other offices locate in Tampere and Oulu
• Travelling max. 10 days a month
• Salary level 4500 – 6000 € monthly
