Senior Credit Risk Analyst / Underwriter

The credit team in Finland is responsible for the underwriting of trade credit insurance cover on Finnish and Baltic companies on behalf of all customers in Allianz Trade. In addition, the credit team is responsible for the monitoring of Finnish and Baltic Companies where Allianz Trade has provided cover. 

What you do

• Credit analysis and grading of companies in our portfolio
• Gathering of information, either through direct contacts with companies or via official sources such as credit information providers
• Proactive portfolio monitoring
• Writing credit risk reports on buyers with the largest exposures and presentation of cases for the Nordic credit committee
• Trade sector analysis
• Underwriting (validating) credit limits for companies, setting a strategy for exposure development
• Frequent contact with customers.
• Telephone contact or visits with companies to obtain information for the monitoring of the buyer portfolio.
• Cooperation and communication with other local internal departments and Allianz Trade offices in other countries.
• Ad-hoc tasks on credit portfolio, economic research, reporting, etc.

What you bring

Your personal qualifications are important to us, and you should therefore be able to recognize the following:

• Degree in accounting or finance, economics or similar
• Good knowledge of credit analysis and credit risk management
• Knowledge of Finnish market, understanding of different industries- characteristics and main drivers
• Ability to make independent decisions and take responsibility
• Good IT literacy, especially Excel
• Fluency in English and Finnish languages. Knowledge of any Baltic and/or Swedish language is a plus

Personal qualities required: sound judgment abilities and analytical mind, high level of integrity, business ethics and responsibility, ability to perform under pressure, willingness to learn, collaborative team player
